OTs Needed to Help NOTCE & Deadline for Input on Standards Approaching

OTs Needed to Help NOTCE Reflect the New Competencies

In response to the new Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada (“Competencies”), which was released earlier this year, the Blueprint that provides a framework for the National Occupational Therapy Certification Exam (NOTCE) is being updated. The NOTCE is used to assess the written application of academic knowledge and professional behaviour of individuals entering the occupational therapy profession in Canada.

How can you help? The NOTCE team is looking for up to 20 occupational therapists, who will be paid honorariums, to help with this update – click here for more information.

Next Three Standards for Review

The feedback survey for the draft Consent, Documentation & Record Keeping and Privacy & Confidentiality SoP will close Monday November 28th @ Noon.

You can choose to review and comment on each section of each SoP (screenshots of SoP content are embedded in the survey) or review the compiled document and provide feedback on the content overall. You may complete the survey on your own or as a group (e.g., at a staff/team meeting, community of practice meet-up, etc.).

If you need additional time to accommodate completion of the survey with a group or if you have any questions about the SoP feedback process, please reach out to Angela Meneley, Director, Policy & Practice.

We look forward to hearing from you!
