College Selected Requirement
ACOT requires mandatory training to ensure all occupational therapists registered in Alberta share foundational knowledge. The 2025/2026 College Selected requirement is Protecting Patients from Sexual Abuse and Misconduct.
The three-part e-module can be accessed in Step 2, of the Renewal Form, under the College Selected tab. Alternatively, you may select the Courses tab in your profile to complete the e-modules.
You must achieve the minimum passing score of 75% to progress through renewal. If you do not meet the minimum passing score, you will be required to repeat the module. Please refer to Accessing Courses on ACOT’s Online Platform for additional information.
Correction Notice
The final slide of Module 3 indicates that a certificate of completion will be issued when the window is closed. This information is incorrect.
Results are recorded in the College Selected tab in Step 2, of the Renewal Form and on your Home Page under My Exams.
If your results indicate “Pending”, this means that you have either not achieved the minimum passing score or you have not completed the quiz for one or more modules. Please refer to the how-to guide linked above for instructions on how to retake or complete the e-modules.
