Your current practice permit expires at midnight on February 28, 2017.
All practice permits must be renewed online at www.acot.ca in the members section. Your User ID is your College registration number. There is an online “forgot your password?” prompt if required.
There are 4 steps to renew:
- Review and update your online profile information
- Complete your online continuing competence program *please note that you must first complete your 2016 SAT before the system will allow you to input your goals from the 2016-2017 registration year. You may also use the continuing competence guide to assist you in completing your continuing competence program
- Complete your declarations
- Submit your online payment
If you have not renewed by Friday January 27, 2017, you will be receiving a legal 30 day notice to renew as required by the Health Professions Act, RSA 2000 cH-7 s43(1). This notice will state that you must renew by midnight on February 28, 2017 or your practice permit will be cancelled.
