New Functionality Coming
ACOT is excited about the upcoming addition of a learning management system (LMS) to our online registration and continuing competence program (CCP) platform. This addition means that in the future most training required by ACOT will be accessed through the same place where you access your registration renewal and CCP functions. For example, going forward the prevention of sexual abuse and sexual misconduct learning modules that are mandatory to take every two years will be accessed in the same place that you complete your CCP submission; you won’t have to go to an external website to access the materials, nor will you have to separately save a certificate of completion. In the coming years we plan to house more learning modules in our new LMS. Stay tuned for further updates!
Thank You and Next Steps
Thank you to the 202 ACOT registrants who completed our repeat Acting Against Racism and Intolerance (AARI) survey this summer. The first iteration of the survey was completed in 2021, and the report for the 2024 iteration will provide comparative analyses to identify areas of progress since 2021 plus opportunities for further targeted AARI work. The September 2021 AARI Final Report provides additional background about this important ACOT priority. We anticipate the 2024 survey report will be published this September.
