September 30, 2026, is Canada’s 6th National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. ACOT will be closed on Wednesday September 30 when ACOT staff and Council will be reflecting on readings and participating in activities designed to bring greater awareness of the truth about Canada’s history, the need for reconciliation, and our part in the reconciliation.

We encourage all occupational therapists to do their own research and participate in Truth and Reconciliation activities of their choosing.
