The Alberta College of Occupational Therapists and the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association are beginning to discuss the possibility of regulating both Occupational Therapists and Recreation Therapists in a combined College, to ensure Albertans receive competent and ethical healthcare services.
We are in the very early stages of discussion, so no commitments have been made. All we have pledged at the moment is an open mind with an emphasis on our organization’s future.
As we begin to explore this opportunity, we will communicate with you openly and transparently when we have more information.
