The National eLearning Module on the Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada will be available in September – keep an eye on your eNews for the login details.
This mandatory eLearning module, available in English and French, will help prepare and educate you about the new Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada. It was developed with the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulatory Organizations (ACOTRO) in partnership with occupational therapy regulators across the country.
You will have six months to complete the ~1.5-hour module, which must be finished before you renew your practice permit in Jan/Feb 2023. Once completed, you will need to provide your reflections on your learnings from the module in your continuing competence program (CCP) submission. A fillable PDF reflection worksheet is available within the module for downloading, that you can fill out and then upload as a learning record in your CCP.
