Call for Competence Committee Members

Do you have an interest in ensuring Albertans receive safe and competent OT services? Perhaps you’re interested in the measurement and evolution of ACOT’s continuing competence program? If so, we invite you to submit an expression of interest to become an ACOT Competence Committee member. As ACOT evolves this Committee from an ad hoc to a standing entity, we are looking for up to ten OTs to continue the important work started by the ad hoc Committee, with orientation targeted for November 2019. Please refer to the role description/expression of interest for further information.

Continuing Competence Program (CCP) Resources

With the updated ACOT Continuing Competence Program going live on October 11, 2019, we have developed multiple resources to help guide you through the program. These resources will be posted on ACOT’s web site by the end of October – if you’re eager to see the resources before then, contact Angela.Sekulic@acot.ca for an advance copy. You can also give us a call at 780-436-8381 if you would like assistance walking through the new version of the program.
