A Message from the Interim President, Survey Due Date Extended

A Message from the Interim President, Jennifer Lee

On behalf of ACOT Council, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Peter Portlock for his time and service with ACOT. Peter has been with Council since 2017 as a Public Member and his term expires at the end of March. Prior to joining ACOT, Peter was employed with regulatory bodies, associations and he was a Chair or member of many councils and boards. Peter’s wisdom and vast expertise in regulation and governance – which he generously shared with his fellow Councillors – was absolutely invaluable to Council and our Governance Committee. In July 2018, at the request of Council, Peter graciously agreed to serve as Interim Registrar for ACOT, and his leadership of ACOT was critical during this transition. He then returned to Council, to contribute as a Public Member.

Peter’s commitment and passion for self-regulation and governance will continue to inspire Council. His mentorship and guidance have left a positive mark on ACOT for many years to come. Peter – it has been a privilege working alongside you. Thank-you!
