Registrants will be able to renew their practice permit online beginning January 1, 2026.

There are four steps of practice permit renewal:

  2. Wrap Up Old CCP (2025/2026)
  3. Initiate New CCP (2026/2027)
  4. Declarations and Payment

Renewal Fees

  • Early Bird Renewal– starts January 1- February 14, 2026
  • Full Renewal– starts February 15-February 28, 2026.
  • If a registrant does not renew before March 1, 2026, their practice permit will automatically be cancelled.

Professional Liability Insurance

Registrants must maintain a minimum of $5 million in current professional liability insurance (PLI). ACOT conducts random checks to ensure registrants’ PLI is active for the registration period. Review your insurance certificate and renew with your broker if it expires in the upcoming months.
