ACOT remains committed to it’s work on anti-racism, equity and inclusion, as outlined in our Anti-Racism, Equity and Inclusion – Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) portion of our website. On National Indigenous People’s Day ACOT staff will be participating in introductory positionality (personal lens) exploration, then reflecting on how this relates to ACOT, Indigenous OTs and Indigenous clients who OTs collaborate with for service provision.
Thank-you to ACOT from Council
Council would like to extend our sincere thanks to the leadership and staff of ACOT for weathering through the challenges of remote work during the pandemic. The small but mighty team managed to keep the public safe, maintained daily operations and continued to increase support to the practice of registrants. We know all OTs had challenging work conditions, no matter how you served Albertans over these past years. We are grateful for your perseverance and professionalism.
As the ACOT team returns to normal office life, we wish them well.
Sincerely, Jennifer Lee, President

Would you like the opportunity to get quick and easy advice from ACOT staff while you login and add content to your own CCP? Or network with other OTs from across the province about how they approach selecting indicators or creating their learning plans for their practice area/setting?
If so, join us for our 30 mins, Spring and Summer CCP Meet Ups. No need to pre-register, just click on the link for the session date/time below.
