Your current practice permit expires at midnight on February 28, 2018.
All practice permits must be renewed online at www.acot.ca in the members section. Your User ID is your College registration number. There is an online “forgot your password?” prompt if required.
There are 4 steps to renew:
- Review and update your online profile information
- Complete your online continuing competence program *please note that you must first complete your 2017 SAT before the system will allow you to input your goals from the 2017-2018 registration year. The College has created a continuing competence program tutorial video to guide you through the process; the video can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YmvNA3RJOk&feature=youtu.be
- Complete your declarations
- Submit your online payment
If you have not renewed by Friday January 26, 2018, you will be receiving a legal 30 day notice to renew as required by the Health Professions Act, RSA 2000 cH-7 s43(1). This notice will state that you must renew by midnight on February 28, 2018 or your practice permit will be cancelled.
