The updated Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada is now available (also available in French). The Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada reflect the broad range of skills and abilities required of all occupational therapists in Canada at every stage of their career. All occupational therapists are expected to stay informed and understand how to apply these competencies to their practice. An eLearning module which provides an overview of the highlights and main differences is expected to be available June 2022. In the meantime, you can compare to the 3rd Edition of the Essential Competencies of Practice for Occupational Therapists in Canada.
